About The Position

Venture Global LNG is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. We are seeking a Project Lead based in Cameron, LA. This role will report to the Director, Marine Engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction project coordination or engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage contractors by preparing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and facilitate coordination meetings.
  • Track and manage procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with engineers and consultants for design clarifications and approvals.
  • Serve as liaison between the field and the site leadership team.
  • Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and field conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Enforce company safety policies and ensure adherence to OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, materials, and compliance with codes and standards.
  • Document quality control checks and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Monitor progress against the construction schedule and assist in developing recovery plans if delays occur.
  • Track quantities, costs, and resource usage to ensure budget adherence.
  • Assist in evaluating subcontractor performance and approving progress payments.
