About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are seeking strategic and results-driven Project Integrators to champion the successful evolution of our lunar manufacturing operations. In this influential role, you will oversee a portfolio of projects and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to advance Blue Origin's vision of enabling millions of people to live and work in space. As a vital member of our Lunar Mission Operations team, you'll blend technical proficiency with operational discipline to integrate manufacturing portfolios, drive business rhythm, and enable the transformation from development to high-rate production. You will collaborate closely with design, operations, and leadership teams to implement operational strategies, maintain rigorous risk, and capital project management processes, and ensure business objectives are achieved on schedule. The ideal candidate is a skilled project manager with experience in operational excellence methodologies, proven communication abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety in a dynamic environment. This is a pooling requisition for current and anticipated openings across multiple Lunar teams, shifts, and locations. Candidates will be matched to the right roles as needs are identified.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant program management/operational experience (manufacturing, aerospace, business operations)
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, data
  • Ability to balance technical, business, and organizational influences
  • Demonstrated history of independent work, problem anticipation, commitment delivery, and accountability

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in an operations environment (aerospace, facility, manufacturing)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Exceptional judgment and discretion handling sensitive or confidential matters
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail (tactical and strategic)
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels without direct authority
  • Proven business acumen with understanding of industry dynamics, marketplace trends, competitive landscape, and technology requirements for operational sustainability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailoring to varied audiences (executives to shop floor)
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one core function: Engineering, Business Management, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, or Configuration Management
  • Proposal/business case development experience (preferred for Product Integrator roles)
  • Experience with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage facility operations across multiple Lunar Manufacturing sites and components, including MK1, MK2, Transporter, Pressure Vessels, and Core Components
  • Aid the Operations Leadership team in facilitating effective decision-making on complicated scenarios with major organizational impact
  • Drive implementation of critical initiatives and support the deployment of operational strategy, moving manufacturing programs from development into production and vertical integration
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Facilities, Risk Management, and Operations leadership to address facility-related risk mitigation (e.g., hurricane response plans, hardware protection, equipment relocation, hardware transport)
  • Provide guidance using best-in-class knowledge of strategy, business insights, operational excellence, and organizational structure
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Lunar Operations Leadership Team and the Lunar Business Unit to evaluate and overcome organizational barriers to success
  • Ensure information is gathered, organized, rendered, and presented to maximize decision speed; manage the implementation and institutionalization of actions for Operations VP
  • Influence leadership to deliver on strategic business goals and objectives with a planned, results-oriented approach
  • Collaborate to align strategy and direction with the overall goals of the organization; develop policies, practices, and procedures that drive business transformation
  • Maintain and manage strategic and tactical priorities, connecting work streams across functions and sites to avoid silos; manage communication cadence and content with Lunar Operations and Rocket Park Leadership
  • Forecast, establish, and maintain goals, schedules, labor and non-labor costs; contribute to planning and reviews (e.g. multi-year, strategic, program, design, monthly metrics, proposals)
  • Coordinate operations internal communications (e.g., company-wide announcements, Quarterly Updates, all-hands presentations)
  • Identify, shape, and lead the implementation of pivotal initiatives and change management activities
  • Mentor teammates in proposal best practices and technical writing; contribute to new business capture and portfolio growth
