About The Position

J5 Consulting is a Maryland based company established in 2006 to provide computing and consulting services for government and commercial entities. Our services improve Information System networking performance and compliance and protect electronic assets from loss and compromise. We welcome your application to receive consideration for the following position. Introduction The Sponsor creates and releases innovative technology products that drive analytic rigor and insight. The Sponsor requires Contractors that support the visualization and creation of flyers, posters, logos, templates, and complex visuals for marketing and branding materials to release these technology products to the Sponsor’s analytic cadre to support their mission needs. The Sponsor also requires multi-media support in video production, animation, story-boarding, illustrations, web design, and installations to further its IT projects. Graphic design and multi-media support will enable the Sponsor to meet these critical requirements. Design support may also include the creation of business products, such as awards, invites, engravings, web design and posters, which promote the Sponsor’s brand and reputation for creating revolutionary technology products. Contractors will support Sponsor’s interdisciplinary team, and be responsible for executing multiple design projects under minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience developing, designing, producing, and delivering visual products for print, presentation, installation, and web or other digital display for Sponsor officers.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating virtual and in-person visualization and design concept meetings with customers.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting event coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience using standard Sponsor software, as well as adhere to Sponsor standards for design, production, and product handling.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining their skills commensurate with industry-wide best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After-Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat Pro.
  • Demonstrated experience working in graphic design or in a similar field.
  • Demonstrated experience in web design, web development, and/or web publishing.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating visualization or design concept meetings.
  • Demonstrated experience in branding and market identity.
  • This position requires US Citizenship.
  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
  • This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience working with the Sponsor's analyst cadre and familiarity with the Sponsor's analytic culture.
  • Demonstrated experience with instructional design, curriculum development, and learning-materials preparation.
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience leading one-on-one IT training sessions and classes to groups of up to 25 students.
  • Demonstrated experience with organizational, cultural, and business-process change management.
  • Demonstrated experience developing marketing and promotional materials for software applications and features or novel analytic methods.
