Project Inspector (Maui)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Inspector to join our Maui team. This role involves construction observation and testing of various activities to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and contract specifications. The position may require technical training or equivalent certification.
Requirements
- Minimum: High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of construction field inspection experience.
- State certifications in Concrete, Asphalt, and Soils & Aggregate preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient with documents, spreadsheets, PDFs, photo files, and experienced with Bluebeam, HeadLight, and Copilot preferred.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools.
- Basic math skills including measurement and estimation.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and concise oral and written communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Observe and test construction activities for compliance with codes, permits, and specifications.
- Perform inspections of processes, systems, structures, and utilities.
- Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, record drawings, and final files.
- Assist in reviewing contractor progress payments.
- Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Travel to different job sites and work in varied field conditions.
