infinIT is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Networking Systems Administrator and Implementation Technician for Windows 10 End of Life implementation projects. This position is responsible for replacing and upgrading PCs, managing and maintaining business client computer networks, workstations, servers, and other client technical infrastructure. This role requires a proactive problem solver with strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate with other technical teams. This position is for a 9 month contract. This position is in-office, not remote. This position is located in Warren/Youngstown, Oh. We are looking for highly experienced technicians to join our service team. This role consists of approximately 50% on-site support and 50% in-office and remote support. All candidates must be able to provide friendly customer service using remote management applications, telephone, and email tools as well as provide IT support services with the highest level of integrity while adhering to our Core Values. Network Engineers are strong in all the most common and popular networking technologies. In addition to strong technical aptitudes, this person is a powerful communicator. This person should be prompt and/or know the importance of communicating ETA's to clients. This person should be skillful at pre-project/work-briefings with each client on each project. This person should then be able to execute with a high degree of success in integrating and/or solving problems.

  • Support clients in a Windows Domain Infrastructure
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills in Windows Desktop
  • Troubleshooting hardware such as servers, desktops, laptops, printers, telephones, and mobile devices
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, switches and firewalls
  • Remote Support using remote connectivity tools
  • Implement client infrastructure design and upgrade projects
  • Initiate preventative maintenance work and/or diagnostics on computers and peripherals
  • Assist in determination of technology requirements
  • Work independently with limited supervision and direction
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, IT Staff and vendors
  • Real-Time daily Time Tracking and detailed system documentation in ConnectWise
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
  • Communicate with clients in a positive manner as required, keeping them informed of incident progress and notification of impending changes or agreed-upon outages
  • Configuration of standard POP, SMTP & Exchange clients including Outlook
  • Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and customization of MS Office Suite applications per customer's preferences
  • Solid understanding of and ability to install, configure and test workstation hardware including video cards, NICs, sound cards, hard drives, and PDAs
  • DAILY time entry accounting for at least 8 hours in the form of Resolution Notes in Service Tickets
  • Regular and timely completion of Minimum Documentation Standards for each client
  • On-going self-training to preserve professional viability is a must
  • Execution and conclusion of projects on-time and/or successful management of client expectations when targets cannot be met
  • Good communication with Account Managers and Service Manager with regards to events and changes transpiring at client sites
  • Takes ownership of tasks and follows through to ensure complete resolution
  • Takes a personal interest in, and responsibility for, quality of work they perform or are associated with
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail while performing technically detailed tasks
  • Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
  • Ability and willingness to recognize when it is necessary to ask for technical expertise from others without unnecessarily burdening other team members
  • Ability to provide accurate time estimates for how long a task will take

  • Windows Troubleshooting and configuration
  • Solid understanding of and ability to configure TCP/IP subnetting and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
  • This position requires strong communication, troubleshooting, planning, and execution skills.
  • All candidates must have reliable transportation with a driver’s license and vehicle insurance, and no prior felony convictions.
  • Candidates must have a vehicle and driver’s license.
  • The ability to pass criminal and credit background checks is a must.
  • Required occasionally to work after business hours to include holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Required to participate on the On-Call rotation schedule
  • Preference will be given to candidates with college degrees and/or current vendor certifications.
