About The Position

Cummings Electrical is currently seeking Electrical Project Foreman with 5+ years' experience for projects involving commercial/industrial electrical construction. Electrical Project Foreman are an integral part of the electrical construction process and are responsible for scheduling, monitoring, and controlling the day-to-day execution of the work, progress, and performance of the project. The role is also responsible for the administration and control of all aspects of the Cummings site specific safety and compliance objectives. Requirements

  • Must maintain and enforce safety policies on jobsite
  • 5+ years of electrical construction experience which includes leading large jobs in Industrial/Commercial industry
  • Can oversee a crew of 10+ electricians
  • Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Active Journeyman's License required
  • Proficient with the National Electrical Code
  • Exposure to Bluebeam and/or Salesforce is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including excel and familiarity with MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Must be able to work at project jobsites throughout the DFW/North Texas/Houston as needed
  • Willingness to travel outside of DFW/North TX/Houston area a plus
  • Must have active driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle report

  • Exposure to Bluebeam and/or Salesforce is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Train, manage and evaluate project team members
  • Assist Strategic Account Manager to prepare construction schedules
  • Create, influence, and maintain schedules for proper resource utilization and material usage
  • Plan and coordinate material and logistical needs of a project efficiently
  • Create & maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety and incident reports
  • Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the client to identify and resolve any conflicts
  • Track production to meet/beat labor goals
  • Plan, organize, and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs
  • Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project
  • Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards
  • Build and grow partnerships with clients for continued work
  • Build/design effective layout drawings and record drawings
