About The Position

The Project Field Engineer will provide support in evaluation of problems & solutions related to pipeline project work and completion. This position assists to ensure that the field has sufficient information and documentation to maintain integrity of work, while complying with applicable codes, current specifications and field philosophies. This is a SEASONAL, BENEFITS ELIGIBLE position expected to start February 2026 with an estimated completion by April 2026

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid (U.S issued) Driver’s License is required.
  • A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.
  • The ability to work 84 hours a week on a 6x1 rotation is required.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in construction engineering or power engineering is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CAD applications, Bluebeam or Adobe Pro is required.
  • Must have good verbal communications and technical writing skills and be able to communicate in a clear and concise fashion to personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be knowledgeable and comfortable with standard business computers and be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be an effective team player with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) or more years of experience working as a Project Field Engineer specifically in the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project documentation in accordance with project requirements.
  • Verify project drawings for field fabrications and installation.
  • Prepare design change requests for design changes or clarifications.
  • Prepare project estimates.
  • Plan and organize projects.
  • Provide work progress reports to project leadership team.
  • Establish punch list for job completion and walk downs for turnover to client.
  • Responsible for preparation of red lines.
  • Prepare interim and completion project reports.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
