About The Position

The Project Facilitator will engage in a hybrid role to support execution of a variety of projects related to the aviation industry and related fields. Duties can include project planning support, oversight/coordination of vendors and subcontractors at project location, and quality control receiving of parts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in quality control, project coordination, or a related role in aviation, critical facilities projects, or highly regulated environment.
  • Travel 50% for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education or certification in quality control, project coordination, or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to work internationally is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with various internal teams to develop comprehensive project scope of work with required support documentation and procedures
  • Estimate project budget and resources necessary to complete project
  • Develop project schedule for full project obligations
  • Create work breakdown structure for internal and external resources
  • Ensure resources and equipment are in place for project execution
  • Communicate with site managers for general schedule updates, site related issues, and ancillary activities
  • Provide direction to sub-contractors and vendors to ensure project stays on budget and on schedule
  • Track daily progress against schedule and develop a mitigation plan in the event project timeline slips
  • Provide project status updates to project team
  • Perform quality control review of aircraft parts to identify, segregate, and maintain all materials according to the established JMI protocols
  • Document the results of inspections, including any discrepancies or issues found.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on site to ensure scope of work is completed in accordance with agreement
  • Communicate with logistics team to establish shipping of goods prior to demobilization from site
