We are seeking a dynamic Project Executive looking for a company where they can learn and grow. The Project Executive is a position of great responsibility, requiring complete technical knowledge of the construction process with strong focus on quality and client standards. This leader is responsible for project organization, implementation, and completion to the client’s satisfaction—while overseeing a team comprising some or all of the following: Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, and Project Engineer. This role will also require Project Management for certain rand projects. Requirements

  • 8+ years experience managing commercial construction projects as a (Senior) Project Manager with a general contractor
  • 5+ years experience managing a project team required

Nice To Haves

  • B.S in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Leverage current and new subcontractor relationships to win work
  • Act as point of contact for client, owner, architect, and project team
  • Resolve discrepancies between client expectations and project realities
  • Mentor, train, and develop project teams including field and office staff
  • Attend internal staff meetings to ensure projects meet financial and schedule requirements
  • Perform Senior Project Manager and Project Manager evaluations
  • Mentor project teams and subcontractors to ensure outstanding performance
  • Manage multiple teams and external relationships on simultaneous construction projects
  • Troubleshoot project hurdles to achieve on-time project delivery
  • Build relationships and network to acquire business from new clients
  • Master the closing skills required during and after an interview
  • Collaborate with marketing department to create compelling materials tailored to the clients
  • Align with preconstruction department on pre-award details
  • Enforce timely close-out process for all teams
  • Act as PM in specific projects and job sites
