About The Position

Our Project Executives are responsible for several projects and their corresponding teams in a particular industry or sector. This position is to oversee a construction division and will operate out of our Cameron and/or College Station office. POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Executive is a Senior leader responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of a department, planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals, meet quality standards, and are delivered within budget and timeframe. Our Project Executives also act as a key point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the project teams, including field and office operations staff
  • Identify potential risks, develop contingency plans, and proactively address issues to minimize project disruptions
  • Confers with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties/responsibilities and delegate authority
  • Manage project budget, monitor costs, identify potential cost overruns, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, identify critical path items, and ensure timely project completion.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee project deliverables meet specifications and industry standards.
  • Regularly visit the construction site to monitor progress, identify safety concerns, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to prepare proposals and bids for new projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations to ensure project alignment.
  • Participate in contract negotiations with preconstruction services and clients.
  • Ensure consistent performance, project delivery (preconstruction and construction) will exceed client expectations.
  • Responsible for all corporate commitments and follow-through.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project strategies, aligning project goals with the company's broader strategic objectives.
  • Influence team growth and development throughout department utilizing training tools, people services, and encouragement
  • Foster a positive team culture, promote collaboration, and support professional development within the project team
