About The Position

The Project Executive in the construction industry plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the successful completion of large-scale construction projects from inception to closeout. This position requires strategic leadership to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Executive acts as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals. They are responsible for risk management, resource allocation, and timely delivery while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction. Ultimately, this role ensures that complex construction projects are executed efficiently, within scope, and to the highest standards, contributing to the company’s reputation and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction project management or executive roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial or infrastructure construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Construction Management.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager).
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Primavera, or MS Project.
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes.
  • Experience working in diverse geographic locations within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and change orders, managing scope and financial performance to meet business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide project managers and site supervisors to foster professional development and high performance.
