Project Executives are accountable for overall project success—delivering projects under budget, increasing profitability, and elevating talent and performance across teams. This role directly leads field labor, project management, and assigned enterprise resources while collaborating with Business Unit Leaders and Project Leaders to refine best practices and improve delivery outcomes. Key focus areas include: Project profitability and financial performance Talent development and team leadership Process improvement and operational excellence

Requirements

  • 10+ years of electrical contracting experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical construction operations
  • Experience leading managers and cross-functional teams
  • Proven financial acumen (budgets, projections, risk)
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset
  • Strong computer and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate manpower planning with Senior Superintendents and Project Managers
  • Build, develop, and retain high-performing project teams
  • Participate in staffing decisions, onboarding, training, and performance reviews
  • Set clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability standards
  • Support company culture, policies, and continuous development
  • Oversee full project lifecycle from estimating through close-out
  • Develop and manage budgets, staffing plans, and financial KPIs
  • Maintain healthy cash flow and targeted profit margins
  • Identify risks, trends, and opportunities to optimize performance
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Pre-Construction teams
  • Help develop SOPs and improve project delivery processes
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Represent Lighthouse Electric in customer presentations and meetings
  • Support business development through project and opportunity input
