About The Position

Project Executive – Mission Critical Construction | Data Center Projects We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead high-stakes, mission critical construction projects where precision, technical expertise, and operational reliability are paramount. In this senior leadership role, you'll oversee multi-million-dollar projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing both project management teams and field operations to deliver exceptional results in safety, schedule adherence, and financial performance. Your expertise will be critical in delivering complex data center projects and mission critical infrastructure that require seamless systems integration and flawless execution.

Requirements

  • 12-15+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Proven track record leading mission critical construction projects or data center construction projects (strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing projects valued at $50M+ with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to coordinate MEP systems, electrical infrastructure, and specialized mechanical systems
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities
  • Expert-level proficiency in construction budgeting, cost control, financial forecasting, and project scheduling
  • Deep understanding of mission critical operations, uptime requirements, and redundancy standards
  • Commitment to safety culture and OSHA compliance
  • Proficiency with project management software and construction technology platforms

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee mission critical construction projects, including data centers, from preconstruction planning through project closeout
  • Manage and mentor project management teams and field personnel to ensure optimal performance and professional development
  • Drive project delivery focused on safety excellence, schedule compliance, and budget adherence
  • Coordinate complex systems integration across multiple trades, vendors, and technical disciplines
  • Oversee budget development, cost forecasting, financial tracking, and project financial performance
  • Develop and maintain master project schedules and ensure milestone achievement
  • Build and strengthen client relationships while serving as primary executive point of contact
  • Ensure operational reliability and foster a culture of accountability across all project teams
  • Lead preconstruction activities including estimating review, constructability analysis, and value engineering
  • Manage risk mitigation strategies and ensure quality control throughout project lifecycle
