About The Position

Maximum Handyman is a rapidly growing, commercial-exclusive maintenance company based in Catonsville, Maryland. We are seeking a dedicated Project Estimator to join our team at our main office. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing customer scopes, technician field notes, and creating project budgets for repair and maintenance projects. A background in construction or maintenance is required, with experience in drywall, plumbing, electrical, residential remodeling, or similar fields preferred. This position is full time (40 hours a week). Hours are negotiable, but would remain constant once set other than specified exceptions. Compensation is experience based. This position has room for upward mobility in a company currently experiencing large growth in both volume and territory. After a probationary period new hires will qualify for benefits, including: health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k. This position has the potential to become salaried, based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Review customer scopes and technician field notes to create accurate project budgets.
  • Estimate costs for repair/maintenance projects including but not limited to drywall, plumbing, electrical, and commercial remodeling.
  • Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and provide timely follow-up.
  • Be on-call during weekends to address any urgent project needs.
  • Order and track supplies and materials for projects.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Ensure efficient workflow by managing project schedules and timelines.
  • Maintain organization and time management to meet deadlines.
