The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:

Requirements

BS degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent estimating experience
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
Ability to exercise good judgment and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively in team environment
Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings virtually or in person.
Prepare complete and accurate quantity takeoffs and bill of materials.
Develop, submit, and obtain answers to requests for information.
Prepare, solicit, and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
Review drawings, specifications, and other RFP documents to ensure estimate is 100% compliant.
Prepare and assemble proposals for submittal to the client.
Facilitate the estimate turnover process to project management.
