About The Position
Our client is a leading energy infrastructure company seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator I to join their Engineering, Construction, & Supply Chain division. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical energy projects while developing your estimating expertise in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 0-5 years in project estimation, construction, or engineering
- Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite
- Understanding of construction/energy project processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid, unrestricted license with clean driving record (no alcohol/drug offenses in past 5 years)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates for energy infrastructure projects
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop comprehensive estimates
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to gather project data
- Maintain and update estimating databases and cost models
- Support feasibility studies and project due diligence activities
- Participate in estimate reviews and present findings to stakeholders
- Assist in risk assessment and cost optimization initiatives
- Travel to project sites as required for data collection and validation
