A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT GEOLOGIST / PROJECT ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST As a project-level professional, you are the driving force behind our business. Your hard work ensures that we deliver for our clients. Under the supervision of the Reno Division Manager, you will: Prepare and review of work plans, technical documents, and reports for federal, state, and local agencies Prepare and review of new clientele proposals for federal, state, and private industry Develop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects from our diverse portfolio and manage budgets Conduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure that appropriate technical and health and safety procedures are being followed Review and approve vendor work proposals and invoices Write project reports, analyze, and interpret data, and prepare final reports to be submitted for Senior and clients review Your people skills are essential as you interact regularly with clientele and regulatory agencies. Though you do spend a lot of time visiting job sites and interacting with people, you also complete various administrative responsibilities.
