A DAY IN THE LIFE The Project Environmental Engineer/Scientist provides direct support, under the direction of Senior Project Manager, to environmental projects. The Project Environmental Engineer/Scientist will complete tasks as assigned using applicable tools and skills to help develop, implement, and maintain management strategies, procedures, and plans for our clients to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations. The position will be required to conduct fieldwork, perform basic calculations and analysis, prepare permit applications and regulatory guidance documents, manage simple projects, and assist with preparation of other environmental documents, such as periodic reports. This role requires that the individual is familiar with the Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office suite of applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), personal data file (PDF) editors (i.e., Adobe or Foxit), and Google Earth. Work will be remote, however, the ideal candidate should be driving distance to the Montrose Albuquerque, New Mexico office. IMPORTANT NOTE: We are only seeking candidates who are located within a reasonable driving distance to our Albuquerque, NM office. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
