About The Position

The Project Engineer Intern works directly with Russell Standard’s Project Engineers and other staff to coordinate various projects and job sites. This position offers personal and professional development to students in Construction or Engineering programs.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Construction Management of Engineering from an accredited program
  • Completion of sophomore year by May of 2026
  • Well established organizational skills with strong attention to detail, record-keeping skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives (involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility)
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Develop and maintain documents, spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps for project needs
  • Assist in researching and preparing information and materials for projects
  • Assist in identifying variances between initial quotes and actual project needs
  • Perform office and clerical work to maintain organization and integrity of workspace and filing system
