Project Engineering Intern (Summer 2026)(Onsite)

As part of our engineering team, you will see every step of the product from proposal to introduction into service, which is unique! Requirements
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Nice To Haves
- Experience with project management, project scheduling
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VBA)
Responsibilities
- Participates on smaller projects or task-related activities including but not limited to hardware design, testing, and processing as part of a cross-functional team
- Executes tasks to a detailed technical schedule
- Performs data gathering, plotting, and basic presentations
- Helps create Bill of Materials (BOM) in Team center PLM
- Collaborates with project engineers across the teams both face to face and through multiple electronic forms
- Participates in root cause analysis and help drive robust corrective actions for evacuation slide manufacturing and fielded product
- Helps coordinate the building and testing of prototypes
- Helps creates or revise qualification test reports and field investigation reports
