Our Global Sustainment (GS) Team at our Ventura facility within Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking an experienced professional for a Project Engineer-Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul Associate Manager position to lead a team of technicians and provide technical expertise in support of the MK 41 Logistics Support program. The successful candidate will serve as a direct interface between program/customer/contract requirements and the onsite technician force. Requirements

  • Experience in leading a team of technicians in an MRO environment
  • Program Management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
  • Clearance Level: Secret

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MK 41 Logistics Support program

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technicians in the performance of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on VLS depot level repairable (DLR) items, including cables, internal power supplies, circuit card assemblies, and other electronic LRUs.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to technicians on complex repair and test activities, including functional and environmental testing, vibration testing, and special test equipment operations.
  • Respond to LM and USN inquiries and investigate, analyze, and provide counsel on matters relating to past, current, and proposed repair of VLS system, subsystems, and components.
  • Support estimates of effort to complete requested repairs, testing, and shipment of VLS and associated support equipment to US locations and foreign countries.
  • Provide inputs to identify candidate items for repair or test based on projected obsolescence, regular maintenance schedules, ship ORDALT schedules, and new ship construction schedules.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of MRO technology plans, common processes, and applications.
  • Collaborate with senior level Customers, Line of Business Program Managers, and other RMS functional support organizations, including Tech Ops, Operations, Contracts, Subcontracts, Business Development, and Finance.
