Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of project management and related experience with experience in a heavy industrial or mining environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with project management and engineering software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Knowledge and experience with crushing, screening, solid liquid separation and material handling systems.
  • Professional Engineer License Preferred.

  • Proficient in the use of Aggflow or other process flow simulation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project management of engineering/construction projects including opportunity/problem identification, potential options for resolution, project estimates, resource requirements, detailed schedule, and work plans.
  • Proactively manage project costs to meet budget and established timelines.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Use AutoCAD to perform design tasks and produce drawings.
  • Provide field supervision/inspection services on construction projects.
  • Perform post-project review to ensure key objectives, cost/performance improvements, and rate of return are achieved.
  • Prepare bid packages for construction and manage construction contracts.
  • Provide project updates on a regular frequency to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Represent the company to industry associations, government officials, and public agencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
