About The Position
The LiRo Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. This position is integral to our construction management and engineering services, which are recognized among the top in the nation by Engineering News-Record. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our capabilities and services through the growth of our key asset—our staff. We pride ourselves on being an "Integrated Construction, Design and Technology Solutions" firm, and we have consistently delivered on this promise. Our recent consolidation with Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI) has allowed us to create a larger, more efficient team to better serve our clients in both the public and private sectors. In this role, you will assist with various project control activities, including managing project documents, tracking Requests for Information (RFIs), and reviewing contract documents. You will also be involved in scope changes, preparing estimates, and negotiating contract modifications. Your responsibilities will include conducting walkthroughs, coordinating with contractors, and monitoring contract implementation to ensure quality work and materials. Additionally, you will inspect task execution to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, develop and maintain project work plans, and attend meetings to prepare minutes. This position requires travel throughout the region to oversee project activities effectively.
