Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in building construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum one year of project management experience in construction or engineering.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to lead by example.
  • Proactive problem-solving and initiative.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and dedication to meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to see the big picture while focusing on detail.
  • Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new software.

Nice To Haves

  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in construction management software like ProCore, ViewPoint, or Microsoft Project.
  • BIM coordination experience.
  • Passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on project proposals and estimates, supporting the pre-construction phase.
  • Act as the central hub for project communication, ensuring clear and consistent information flow.
  • Manage project costs, including reviewing budgets, processing change orders, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Champion safety by reporting concerns, implementing corrective actions, and upholding safe work practices.
  • Assist with project closeout activities, ensuring a smooth handover to the owner.
