About The Position

Mammoth Sports construction is seeking a Project Engineer that plays a crucial role in the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This position supports project management team by coordinating technical aspects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and facilitating smooth communication between internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail. JOB LOCATION: Meriden, Kansas, non remote

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in construction engineering, project coordination, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office, or other construction management software.
  • Strong understanding of construction, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of cost estimation, contract administration, and procurement processes.
  • Willingness to work onsite and travel as needed for project requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site superintendents, and subcontractors to track project progress.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to project requirements.
  • Assist with procurement of materials, equipment, and labor resources.
  • Provide meeting minutes for project managers documenting decisions made, deadlines, and any other critical information for the project.
  • Identify potential risks, conflicts, or delays and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize project management software to maintain accurate records and track project milestones.
  • Track, manage, review all construction documents including submittals/shop drawings, Request for Information (RFI), Architectural Supplemental Instructions (ASI), and final close out documentation.
  • Schedule meetings & attendees as requested by the Project Management Team.
  • Assist in writing Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, and Commitments.
