About The Position

As a Project Engineer I – AP1000 Constructor Interface, you will support New Plant opportunities. You will participate in specific activities with our consortium partners related to the construction of AP1000 nuclear power plants to support Westinghouse International new build market development.

You will report to the Construction Interface Manager and work a hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Nuclear, or related discipline).
• 0+ years' experience.

Nice To Haves

• Internship or co-op experience in a technical or engineering role.
• Familiarity with nuclear power plant systems, codes, and standards.
• Exposure to project management tools or methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to implement standard work processes, procedures and automation tools on all AP1000 New Plant Opportunities consistent with the strategic direction established by the respective Project Partners.
• Participate in cross-discipline coordination for both technical and schedule related issues.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and issue resolution processes to support construction activities.
• Support contract activities to ensure completion within the required timeframe.
• Participate in learning to build expertise in project execution.
