POSITION SUMMARY: This position’s primary focus is to conceptualize, design, coordinate and manage through start-up, the construction of midstream natural gas facilities including meter stations, valve sites, pipelines, compressor stations, dehydration, amine treating, gas plants and other related facilities. All work will be performed in compliance with company standards, procedures, and government requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, chemical, or electrical engineering or other engineering degree from ABET accredited institution OR registered professional engineer (with relevant experience) required.
  • Three (3) years of related experience required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Current valid driver's license required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of individuals/employees.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with affected departments during project development to vet resource estimates, schedules, business benefits, environmental/health/safety impacts.
  • Facilitates project detailed design and technical reviews to ensure design meets corporate engineering standards.
  • Prepares bid requests for material, labor, and equipment and evaluate proposals on sound engineering and business principles.
  • Supports multiple projects simultaneously of varying magnitude and complexity from conception to commissioning and start-up.
  • Acts as a safety leader who upholds company core values and prioritizes personal and process safety. Prepares and leads engaging project safety meetings, drives safely, utilizes the MOC process, and supports the development and implementation of business partner energy isolation procedures. Supports department and company HES goals.
  • Troubleshoots operational issues and optimizes processes utilizing sound engineering practices.
  • Participate in project safety reviews including HAZOPs, PHAs, PSSRs, etc.
  • Tracks project budgets, work orders, and purchase orders, and schedules and maintain a firm understanding of potential issues before they arise.
