ECC is seeking candidates to fill a Project Engineer position for upcoming work in Hawaii and surrounding areas. This position will support large federal government construction projects for Department of Defense (DoD) clients. The primary responsibilities of this position includes planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, and ECC procedures. In this position, you will: Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, submittals, and project documentation Review, interpret, and update drawings, specifications, and as-built documents Perform field inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, safety, and quality requirements Track scope, schedule, budget, quantities, and production rates for assigned tasks Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, clients, and ECC personnel Assist with RFP development, subcontract scope packages, proposal evaluations, and procurement activities Inspect delivered materials and equipment and verify compliance with contract requirements Support A/E design services, on-site investigations, and redline updates Maintain daily logs, field reports, meeting minutes, quality and safety documentation Support Government Property administration Apply federal regulations, DoD criteria, USACE QC requirements, FAR, OSHA, and applicable codes and standards Perform additional project controls, estimating, safety, quality, or technical duties as assigned In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
