The Life Extension 2 (LE2) team is an organization within the greater FBM program which supports the development of the next generation system by developing concepts, researching, and maturing technologies to support the development of the next FBM Missile System. As a Project Engineer you will lead project execution for a team of engineers to support the design and development of a complex propulsion hardware. You will be responsible for driving integration with other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and ensuring close collaboration to ensure a sound technical solution.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience leading a team as a technical lead or similar role
  • Experience with flight hardware or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen for consideration

Nice To Haves

  • Missile and/or aerospace related education or experience
  • Highly effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
  • EVM knowledge/experience
  • Experience working with procurement and outside suppliers
