Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Managing costs; including tracking quantities and cost for production operations and materials. Managing of subcontractors including scheduling, progress, and payments. Writing and managing RFI’s and Submittals Powerful verbal and written communication skills An understanding of Contract documents and associated requirements for; change orders, requests for compensation, and time extensions. Project schedules including 3 Week and 90 Day Look Ahead Schedules Experience on bid-build unit price and lump sum projects with an understanding of the measurement and payment requirements Support and maintain as built drawings Coordination with project superintendents regarding schedule and resources including people, equipment, materials, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. Assures compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA safety standards Multi-tasks and stay focused on the big picture while addressing daily issues

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management with relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• 5-10 years’ experience working on public works projects with both field and office responsibilities is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to listen, engage, and influence is vital.
• Excel--Ability to navigate spreadsheets and utilize Excel as a tracking system required.
• A Driver’s License in good standing is required

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working in the greater Los Angeles County region is preferred
• Those with water/wastewater experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
