About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Lead and manage capital and operational projects from concept through execution across aggregates operations. Collaborate with and/or lead cross-functional teams to ensure engineering solutions align with operational goals. Drive continuous improvement in safety, sustainability, and efficiency through innovative project design. Oversee contractor performance, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery. Support strategic planning and technical evaluations for future site development and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Mining Engineering preferred but will consider other disciplines.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in engineering/construction, preferably in the Aggregate or Mining industries.
  • Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing budgets, schedules, and contractor relationships.
  • Proficiency in engineering principles, project management tools, and safety standards.
