THE WORK: You’ll oversee projects from limited notice to proceed through one year of commercial operation. You’ll act as the primary contact for managing and coordinating all technical aspects of the project, including the efforts and performance of in-house owner and EPC engineers. You’ll manage the Project Engineering Management Plan, clearly defining scope and deliverables. You’ll develop engineering and document management plans, including establishing and maintaining the project site’s libraries for engineering, contracts, and accounting. You’ll ensure engineering is complete, accurate, and constructible for all project elements. You’ll requisition ancillary contracts and provide bidding instructions to Supply Chain, participate in contractor and vendor selection. You’ll ensure contract requirements are applied during construction for a “fit for purpose” outcome. You’ll attend bi-weekly NERC compliance meetings and manage inspection services contracts. You’ll validate completed construction activities, monitor project schedule issues, and construction staff safety risks. You’ll track progress against the stage gate process, contribute to associate stage gate deliverables as needed. You’ll seek input from Entergy organizations such as risk, technical support, and plant support as needed to progress the project. You’ll ensure project completion aligns with drawings, specifications, quality, and performance, manage non-conformance reporting, field change notifications, and design change notifications. You’ll participate in inspection activities during construction, turnover, and commissioning. You’ll liaise with Power Generation Operations and EPC Partner on standard operational procedures, training, commissioning, compliance, and spare parts requirements.perience to provide SME-level project management, controls, and business case guidance to project team members. Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. Requirements

  • 5-15 years of experience
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous experience in the utilities industry

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Experience in CCGT projects
  • Experience working in an EPC
