About The Position

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field)
6-10 years of engineering project management experience, preferably in solar, BESS, or power industry
Experience with utility-scale renewable energy projects
Strong project management and communication skills
Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, power systems, and industry standards (ASME, NERC, etc.)
Experience with engineering software tools (ETAP, EDISON preferred)
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to work independently and lead technical teams

Responsibilities

Lead and manage photovoltaic (PV) projects from interconnection through permitting and construction phases
Manage Engineers of Record (EORs), EPCs, and consultants to ensure technical deliverables align with project requirements
Write and manage Scopes of Work and participate in contract negotiations
Review designs, studies, and drawings for conformance with requirements and AHJ standards
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines
Support project financing due diligence and provide value engineering solutions
Lead technical conversations with Transmission Owners and ISOs
Oversee project documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Support construction activities and respond to RFIs
Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining schedule and budget oversight
