The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and managing key aspects of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of all facets necessary to construct the project on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. A day in the life involves collaborating with the Project Manager to support construction planning, proactively managing equipment and material coordination, analyzing project data, and contributing to reporting and forecasting efforts. This role serves as a key liaison between project team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders, helping to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and support project objectives. MCN Project Engineers work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Assistant Project Managers to provide insight into financial reporting, job costing, change orders, and project billing, while exercising discretion and independent judgment in support of project operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience working in construction, design, architecture, engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in PlanGrid, Procore, and Sage 300 Timberline, with proficiency expected
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office Programs
  • Strong and proactive communication skills (written, by phone, and in-person)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, subcontractors, vendors, architects, designers, and the community
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make informed decisions

Responsibilities
