Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or other 4-year technical degree and related experience.
  • Skills: Adequate knowledge of engineering principles and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Work Experience: Prior work experience in pulp & paper industry preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare scope and cost estimate for assigned projects.
  • Maintains compliance with ISO Quality System responsibilities.
  • Develop an engineering, procurement and construction strategy for each project.
  • Design and implement approved projects.
  • Monitor and control project scope, schedule and cost.
  • Manage project construction.
  • Coordinate project commissioning and start-up.
  • Communicate project status to operations and maintenance.
  • Provide technical assistance to operations and maintenance to identify and solve routine problems.
