About The Position

The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, budgeting, tracking, and facilitating the successful completion of capital and process improvement projects at COPPERWORKS.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial project management role.
• Experience managing capital projects, construction activities, and equipment commissioning.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); working knowledge of CAD software preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering; Engineering Technology; Project Management; or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support project execution.

Responsibilities

• Champion a World-Class Safety Culture in all aspects of project execution.
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow for new or modified production methods.
• Manage contractor relationships, project budgets, and timelines, ensuring all work meets specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) for project-related work.
• Lead and support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Monitor and report on project progress, schedules, and costs.
• Support Preventive Maintenance (PM) planning, ensuring necessary spare parts and maintenance tasks are defined and implemented.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
