About The Position

The IT Project Engineer is responsible for managing the end‑to-end procurement lifecycle for the organization's technology assets. This includes renewing maintenance contracts, ordering software and hardware, maintaining accurate license inventories, and coordinating vendor quotes. The role works closely with the IT service team, finance, and external suppliers to ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition and compliance with corporate policies. In light of current internal business pressures, priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation (EBDT) organization. #EBDT Basic Qualifications: - Assist with Basis-of-Estimates (BOE) proposal submissions by utilizing historical project data. - Perform data analysis of engineering estimates, change proposals, and cost forecasting - Manage a suite of databases and documents that encompass IT documentation, templates, and project workflows - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, cybersecurity, and program management, to gather inputs and circulate status updates - Perform supporting tasking assigned by the IT technical leadership - Ability to obtain a secret clearance. US Citizenship is required. Desired Skills: - Demonstrated knowledge of Information Technology (IT) terms, technologies, and methodologies - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines - Demonstrated communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment - Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
