About The Position
The position involves maintaining contracts with select trade partners and managing subcontract administration. This includes defining work scope, answering inquiries, and supervising progress. The role also requires participation in change management and the change order process, which involves pricing, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impacts before review. Additionally, the position entails maintaining project document control and procedures, coordinating RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals, and maintaining as-built drawings for both building and civil projects. Collaboration with the project team lead is essential to supervise design and ensure timely responses to the submittal schedule. The role includes reviewing trade partners' submittals for compliance with scope and design documentation before forwarding them for design review. Coordination with the project manager and superintendent is necessary to manage and report on overall project performance, focusing on site health, safety, environment (HSE), cost management, schedule, and quality. The position also involves preparing and supervising progress claims and estimates, coordinating inventory and tracking of materials and equipment, and expediting material orders. Site inspections with the design team to resolve constructability and site coordination issues are part of the responsibilities, along with ensuring compliance with functionality, AHJ requirements, and code compliance. Finally, the role includes participation in overall project closeout, including document archival, maintenance, warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
