About The Position

Due to ongoing growth, AE2S is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our nationally recognized, award-winning team. In this role, you'll collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers on the design, analysis, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Typical assignments include planning studies, engineering reports, system design, and construction administration for both new developments and system upgrades. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to client relationships and business development as part of a supportive, high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering
  • Ability to travel as required for business development and project/client responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Proficient with Civil 3D
  • Ability to lead both internal initiatives and external projects
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional services for civil engineering projects to include design, plans, specifications, reports, project budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules, estimates, and coordination of sub-consultants and contractors
  • Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work
  • Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments
  • Maintain quality client relationships and communication
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and other project team members
