Requirements

  • Ideally, you’ll have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Five years or more of professional experience is preferred, ideally with your PE license or able to obtain in the next six-months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide water engineering design services, which include everything from helping clients with water treatment plant upgrades to replacing lead service lines.
  • Provide wastewater engineering design services, which include everything from retrofitting wastewater treatment plants to correcting effluent exceedances.
  • Draft reports, develop conceptual designs, evaluate alternatives, prepare plan markups, prepare cost opinions, draft technical specifications and make preliminary equipment selections.
  • Work with clients to get data or share information.
  • Assist with construction administration including shop drawing review, construction observation, reviewing change orders, startup assistance and pay application review.
