About The Position

As a Project Engineer at WSB, you will play a supporting role in various projects, performing specific design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation. You may compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications on Water Resources and Transportation projects. There may be opportunities to perform tasks or observe projects in the field, participate in public meetings, and have presentation opportunities. Additionally, you may oversee the work of Engineering Technicians and Graduate Engineers. As you advance in your career, you may plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets. You will lead multiple work teams, manage complex projects, identify new projects, formulate project approaches, lead the proposal process, and secure work from new and existing clients.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience in Water Resources or related field.
• Texas PE or the ability to obtain the Texas PE within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a variety of locations.
• Experience in XPSWMM, HECRAS, Bentley, AutoCAD, GIS, and performing transportation drainage design.
