We are seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our team working in the following areas: Stormwater Management; Storm Drainage; Erosion and Sediment Control; Hydrology/ Hydraulics Modeling/Design; Watershed Studies; and Stream Restoration for various exciting projects throughout RK&K's project portfolio. Essential Functions Develop, evaluate, and design water resource elements to support public works infrastructure and ecological restoration projects across RK&K's vast portfolio with a focus on the Mid-Atlantic region Proactively deliver a wide range of water resource projects including drainage design, stormwater management, flood studies, watershed plans, erosion and sediment control, scour analysis, outfall stabilization/ stream restoration, and other related projects in accordance with the scope, schedule, and budget set by the project manager Provide excellent client services with a focus on quality and timeliness Meet and work directly with other design team members including project manager, project engineers, design technicians, drafters, surveyors, contractors, inspectors, public agency officials, and clients Develop civil engineering plans using MicroStation, GeoPak/OpenRoads and GIS while applying knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards Provide office and site visit support for projects in construction Develop detailed project analysis and prepare permit applications for oversight agencies to address the full range of environmental issues and conditions associated with water resources projects Lead tasks, plan budgets, manage subconsultants
