About The Position

Weston & Sampson is currently looking for a Project Engineer within our Water/Wastewater group with 4-6 years of experience to work in our Greenville, SC office. The role involves preparing water utility designs including preparation of plans and specifications for permitting and construction for water distribution and wastewater collection projects, such as water mains, gravity sewers, wastewater pump stations, and storage tanks. The Project Engineer will perform hydraulic modeling to assist in water and wastewater planning and design efforts, assist in preparing water and wastewater master planning studies, and assist in construction administration of water distribution and wastewater collection system projects. The position offers a flexible workload, diverse project files, and requires working well with multiple staff members including delegating work to entry-level staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
• 4-6 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and REVIT (preferred).
• PE license preferred or ability to become licensed within twelve (12) months.
• Experience managing multiple projects and clients.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with hydraulic modeling software.
• Familiarity with water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
