This role will offer you the following daily challenges: Join us as a Project Engineer, Sr. Staff for the FBM Mark 7 Re-Entry program where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years professional experience, or equivalent experience/combined education.
Prior project management experience and Control Account Management (CAM) experience.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in a engineering field or technical discipline.
Master's degree in an STEM or business field.
Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.
Basic understanding of project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical).
Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.
Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking.
Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).
Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers
