Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with traffic engineering and related design packages, preferably serving the municipal market.
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week.
  • Ability to work in the posted locations.

Nice To Haves

  • PTOE certification.

Responsibilities

  • Be a leader in delivering our traffic engineering services - specifically focused on the municipal market
  • Business development: pursue new / further develop existing client relationships, focusing on innovative ideas and trends
  • Develop action plans to identify potential opportunities and track progress
  • Research and implement emerging technologies to offer value added services to your clients
  • Find ways to incorporate sustainable practices to your clients
  • Manage internal and external client relationships
  • Actively participate in the preparation of proposals
  • Managing traffic projects and traffic elements of larger project and ensure quality of products and conformance to budget
  • Prepare and/or review traffic design plans for various projects
  • Conduct and/or oversee traffic modeling and analysis for studies
  • Prepare memorandums and reports for traffic studies and research
  • Present technical reports at conferences and agency meetings
  • Supervise the work of other engineers and technicians
  • Review work for accuracy and coordinate with others functional groups to ensure quality assurance and quality control for all final products
  • Development and evaluation of design alternatives and design plans to maintain traffic during construction
