We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, Test Integration to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. If selected you will: Support Test Integration Meetings (TIMs) and follow-on execution activities, including coordination with external partners Define and align on test objectives for vehicle and subsystem testbed Identify required hardware emulation testbeds and assess adequacy of existing assets Define testbed configurations necessary to meet agreed test objectives Develop and execute test plans based on outcomes of integration and planning forums Coordinate across project engineering, test engineering, and partner organizations to ensure alignment and readiness Track action items, risks, and dependencies associated with test execution

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Experience in project engineering, test integration, or systems engineering on complex hardware programs
  • Familiarity with hardware testbeds, emulators, or system-level testing
  • Ability to translate high-level test objectives into executable plans
  • Strong coordination and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience working in structured program environments with external partners.
  • US Citizenship and the ability to pass a comprehensive security background investigation is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting flight or flight-like test programs
  • Previous experience supporting the VIPER project or closely related lunar surface systems
  • Familiarity with NASA project environments or large aerospace programs
  • Experience participating in or leading formal technical interchange meetings (TIMs)
  • Understanding of test configuration management and test readiness processes
