Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data centers, technical services, facilities management, or a similar role. Experience in reliable power systems, including UPS, batteries, emergency generators, transfer switches, switchgear, or distributed generation.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Understanding of the main principles of engineering and construction.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and facilities management software.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive technical solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist in managing projects, including cost estimation, procurement of materials, and supervision of contractors, to ensure timely and efficient completion.
  • Perform field work, including onsite electrical equipment and operational assessments, supervision of electrical equipment maintenance, testing and commissioning activities, set power meters and record measurements on electrical services and equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and monitor service delivery, ensuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of services.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal stakeholders, resolving complex issues and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation, including maintenance schedules, equipment logs, and service records, to ensure compliance and facilitate decision-making.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance technical services and contribute to the growth and success of the team.
