Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Efficiently prioritize tasks and identify critical path items.
  • Flexible and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and process-focused.
  • Frequent, proactive, and effective communication skills.
  • Experience in hospitality, trades, sales, or similar roles preferred but not required.
  • Strong technical, administrative and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Sage 300, Microsoft Project and Procore preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and manuals is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, organize, and maintain both digital and hard copy project folders per company standards, ensuring all documents are properly proofread and edited.
  • Collect and manage subcontractor Certificates of Insurance, ensuring compliance through consistent follow-up, and regularly communicate with subcontractors on invoicing, RFIs, submittals, and bids.
  • Assist the Project Manager and Project Executive with estimating, bid proposals, contract administration, and change order tracking.
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, distribute meeting minutes, and work with accounting to collect waivers at project closeout.
  • Help the Superintendent with supply orders, labor coordination, material procurement, and storage, ensuring smooth project operations.
  • Maintain and update the company bidders list for the LG Advantage division, and track project submittals and insurance compliance.
