The project engineer role within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team at Lockheed Martin focuses on engineering, developing, and integrating capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. The position requires collaboration with various teams to manage project tasks, staffing, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

  • Organize and conduct weekly tag-ups and status meetings.
  • Maintain Confluence pages for meetings.
  • Track Action Items and work with assignees to resolve issues.
  • Organize Iteration planning meetings and work with product teams on collecting and presenting metrics used for planning.
  • Manage the Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) approvals.
  • Work with product teams to complete SARA forms and get approval through LM and Govt prior to use.
  • Manage Regional Applications contract deliverables and drive the document reviews through the approval process.
  • Ensure product teams have needed staffing requisitions open in the RCB tool.
  • Review submitted candidates and work with product teams to interview and select qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Represent RA at the Resource Control Board and compile staffing metrics for the Regional Applications ART.
  • Collect and report staffing and software development metrics to assist product teams and leadership.
  • Must be able to get a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/365 tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Confluence, creating and maintaining project status pages.
  • Experience with JIRA, including creating filters, dashboards, and queries.
  • Experience collecting and collating metrics from various sources.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (creating macros, pivot tables, graphs, etc.).
  • Experience with project staffing.
  • Prior experience with C2BMC.
  • Knowledge of Software Development processes.
