What You'll Do As a Project Engineer, Software, you'll coordinate and oversee software engineering efforts across the full project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meet requirements, timelines, and budgets. As a Project Engineer, Software at Park Industries, you'll primarily work standard business hours Monday to Friday, with availability for extended hours when project needs require.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (required)
15+ years of engineering experience (required)
Experience with CNCs and PLCs (required)
Proficiency with project management software (Project, DevOps, Monday, etc.) (required)

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (preferred)

Responsibilities

Lead Project Deliverables: Contribute to and communicate project specifications that align with product requirements within the New Product Development (NPD) process.
Architect Software Systems: Design software solutions from initial conceptualization through commissioning, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Mentor and Guide Teams: Direct and mentor less experienced engineers, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the discipline.
Collaborate Across Functions: Support Manufacturing, Sales, Service, Installation, and Training teams with technical expertise and documentation needs.
Drive Product Development: Actively participate in all stages of NPD, including conceptualization, design, verification/validation, and delivery to the product team.
Ensure Quality and Documentation: Communicate service documentation needs (schematics, CAD drawings, flow charts) to design teams and apply quality control measures throughout projects.
Provide Backup Support: Assist the Sustaining Engineering team and other NPD engineers when needed.
