What You'll Do As a Project Engineer, Software, you'll coordinate and oversee software engineering efforts across the full project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meet requirements, timelines, and budgets. As a Project Engineer, Software at Park Industries, you'll primarily work standard business hours Monday to Friday, with availability for extended hours when project needs require.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (required)
  • 15+ years of engineering experience (required)
  • Experience with CNCs and PLCs (required)
  • Proficiency with project management software (Project, DevOps, Monday, etc.) (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Deliverables: Contribute to and communicate project specifications that align with product requirements within the New Product Development (NPD) process.
  • Architect Software Systems: Design software solutions from initial conceptualization through commissioning, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Mentor and Guide Teams: Direct and mentor less experienced engineers, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the discipline.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Support Manufacturing, Sales, Service, Installation, and Training teams with technical expertise and documentation needs.
  • Drive Product Development: Actively participate in all stages of NPD, including conceptualization, design, verification/validation, and delivery to the product team.
  • Ensure Quality and Documentation: Communicate service documentation needs (schematics, CAD drawings, flow charts) to design teams and apply quality control measures throughout projects.
  • Provide Backup Support: Assist the Sustaining Engineering team and other NPD engineers when needed.
